Step through a portal and into the ocean where you’re invited to uncover a story about plastic pollution using augmented reality (AR). Inspired by real events, this simple interactive experience aims to leave you with a sense of wonder about life beneath the waves and emphasizes why our actions matter more than we realise.

The app features an interactive story, a game mode and companion resources for educators and people who want to combat plastic pollution.

You will need a brightly lit space with room to move around.

The volume should be turned on. We recommend earphones if you don’t want to disturb those around you.

The experience has three parts:
- First, there's the story. This interactive narrative can be completed in under five minutes and you are free to explore the environment as long as you like.

- After completing the story you will unlock the arcade. This is an immersive game that you can play with your friends and family to see who makes it to the top of the leaderboard on your device.

- Finally, in the main menu, you'll find a link to a microsite where educators can download a lesson plan for classrooms, and people can find links to resources on how they can combat plastic pollution.
