For effective implementation of various safeguards provided in the Constitution for the Other Backward Class and various other protective legislations, the Govt. of India through Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training and Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) have already been framed the reservation policy and issued several Office Memorandums / Office Orders / Circulars / Letters / Guidelines / Clarifications, but it has been experienced that these orders are not being implemented in actual spirit of law. All India Other Backward Class Railway Employees Association is continuously struggling to ensure strict implementation of above rules & regulations in favour of Other Backward Class Railway Employees. The reservation policy for OBC was challenged in the CATs, High Courts & Supreme Court also but protected due to interference of All India Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes Railway Employees Association
