Resistor Assistant in its core is a calculator to look up resistor color bands.

It can convert color bands of resistors with four, five or six color bands into their corresponding values in Ohm, or you can input an Ohm value and the app will present you with the color bands that represent this value.

Resistor Assistant however is more than just that.
If you switch into "Assistant" mode, the app behaves like popular voice assistants.
By the press of a button, you can say a color combination and Resistor Assistant will respond with the Ohm value of the resistor you described.
This is extremely helpful if you can just look at the resistor you have at hand and read out its colors.

Likewise, you can say any value in Ohm, Kiloohm, etc., and it will answer with the respective colors.

You can also input these values as text in Assistant mode, if you don't like to use your voice.
You should try it though, it really helps!
