DICO LSG - A FREE APPLICATION TO LEARN THE GUINEAN SIGN LANGUAGE AND CONTRIBUTE TO ITS DEVELOPMENT

This application is intended for learning Guinean Sign Language.
It is available FREE of charge to anyone wishing to learn or improve ...

Deaf, hearing, parents, friends, teachers or simply interested… this tool is for you.
Internet connection is only required for downloading or updating a category.
Then the user can consult without an internet connection, which is particularly suited to the context in Guinea.

To be able to download this application, it is necessary to have an Android smartphone or tablet with at least an Android 6 version.


The user has access to the word followed by the definition, image and video of the associated sign.

The user can:

 Download only the categories it needs
 Update a category
 Search by word, alphabetically, by category
 Access the "bases"
 Make word / sign suggestions to help enrich the application
 Access the “About” section which provides useful information.


This app is the result of several months of collaboration between the Wontanara association with deaf children of Guinea based in France ([email protected]), the ASCULSGUI association based in Guinea in Conakry ((asculgui @ yahoo .fr) and the Polytech Nancy engineering school.
