From 16 October to 13 November 2022, the eighth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be held in Australia. The tournament was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic in July 2020, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC also confirmed in August 2020 that Australia will host the rearranged tournament in 2022, with the T20 World Cup originally scheduled to take place in India, but later moved to the UAE and Oman. The ICC confirmed all tournament fixtures on 21 January 2022. The defending champions are Australia, the hosts.
