With the aim of improving the visit experience, the APP uses GPS technology to guide the user during their journey. Thanks to a notification system based on proximity to points of interest (POI), you will receive audio and visual warnings when you are near a prominent place, without having to manually search for the information.
The application has information on tourist routes, hiking routes, monuments, where to eat, where to sleep... A set of 35 geolocated points of interest make up the new application for Bétera Turisme mobile devices. All the information of interest to the population on your smartphone and available in 2 languages ​​(Valencian and Spanish), without the need for an internet connection. In addition, information about hotels and restaurants is updated online through the City Council's content manager, so that you always have the most recent data.

Navigation menus
The application has two menus:
1. Top menu, to navigate through the different contents.
2. Lower menu, gives us access to the main functionalities of the APP-

◦ Maps classified by theme with points of interest (POIS) and that locate us in real time with respect to them. Clicking on them expands the information.
◦ Toogle map with all points of interest (POIS) listed in order of distance from our location.
◦ Hiking routes: It shows us a list of routes that we can take with Bétera as a starting point. The map shows us the layout of the route and locates us in real time on the route.
This lower menu also has access to the home page and configuration options, where you can:
• Select the language.
• Activate or deactivate proximity notifications.
• Manage information of interest.

Hiking trails
The APP offers a list of several hiking routes, each with a detailed description and a map showing the route. The application locates and guides the user at all times within each route.

Proximity notices
People who visit Bétera with the APP installed will receive a notice when they are near a point of interest. This notice will give you the option to obtain information about the place or locate yourself on the city map.
