Downloading thumbnail is very easy using out thumbnail downloader app. Just input video URL or ID and press the Load Thumbnail button. You will see the buttons to download or share (without downloading) as soon as the image loaded.
To download hit the download button and allow the app and get the thumbnail into your device. You will get the downloaded images in YT Thumbnail folder.
