The nectarine teachings of Yugavatar Sri Ramakrishnadev were transcribed by his disciple Shri Mahendranath Gupte (Shri 'M'). Original Bengali teachings have been translated into Gujarati and published by Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Rajkot. Shrima Shardadevi writes to Shri 'M' in a letter.

Dear Vatsa (Mr. M.),
Everything you heard from him (Sri Ramakrishna) first is true. He was the one who told you all these things once. Now he is publishing it as required. Know that if you do not spread all these things, consciousness will not awaken in the people. Everything you say (written) is true. One day hearing from your mouth I felt that he (Sri Ramakrishna) himself was saying all these things.
