The book marital relationship and mental health is divided into five chapters:
The first chapter dealt with the emergence of the marital relationship, the first chapter discussed the purpose of marriage, its objectives and its importance, the second chapter, the choice in marriage, the theories that explain it, the foundations on which it is based, and the factors that affect the decisions of choice, while the third chapter presented the procedures of marriage from engagement, the marriage contract, and then the wedding.
Chapters continue that talk about the early years of marriage, crises and disputes and their types, divorce and its problems and psychological effects on the family, the role of marital counseling and state institutions.
