The "ZhiZao.Energy" of Electric Fantasy No. 1 hopes to make the public closely connected with energy through creative and diverse experiences. Based on this spirit, we hope to cultivate the concept of energy sustainability in people from an early age. Therefore, we target junior high school students and let them understand the principles and applications of various energy sources through interactive games. We believe that compared with a single text group or picture description, the use of APP animation presentation and interactive game mechanism can allow students to more intuitively feel the power generation process and deepen the connection between electricity and public life.
Although textbooks now mention content related to renewable energy, the content is relatively rigid and single, and schools do not pay much attention to this part, so students only have some simple impressions of green electricity.
Problem Analysis:
Traditional books can only allow students to learn according to the course content, or add videos as a teaching aid, but because students have no actual experience, the connection with life applications is insufficient, making it difficult for students to understand renewable energy in detail.

By designing games with appropriate difficulty and challenges, students can gradually develop divergent thinking during the game process. At the same time, repeatedly being in a game situation rich in green energy knowledge will help the relevant concepts to invisibly influence students' values and action tendencies.
Chorno design concept:
The word "Chorno" comes from Greek, meaning "time". Inspired by this, we conceived the core device that symbolizes eternity and circulation, the "Heart of Kolo", as a key system to control future energy. This heart not only represents the source of energy, but also symbolizes the deep connection and coexistence between humans and nature. In terms of image design, "Kolo" borrowed the concept of "Black Box" - the appearance is mysterious and low-key, and the interior contains key information and deep wisdom. In the plot, Kolo's operation does not rely solely on machinery or technology, but is based on human understanding and respect for energy. Because of this, Kolo, like a black box, collects the source of energy built by human history, language and beliefs, and becomes a symbol and guardian of future civilization.
Mysterious Girl (Luna):
Luna is a mysterious girl from the future. In order to save the world that is about to collapse, she travels through time and space alone and goes back to the past to find someone who can repair Kolo with her. Although she shoulders a heavy mission, Luna shows a personality that is completely different from her destiny - she is lively and cheerful, full of action, and can always infect people around her with an optimistic attitude.
Rune design:
The runes refer to the graphic design method commonly used in "Monster Hunter", using simple graphics to convey deep concepts. The runes of wind power, water conservancy, and solar energy convey concepts such as wind blowing, flowing water, and light energy conversion.
Script design:
In the future world, energy is dominated by a system called Kolo, which can intelligently distribute, store and convert various energy sources. However, one day Kolo became abnormal, and the power generation devices of the three basic energy sources (wind power, water power, and solar energy) suddenly failed, causing the world to fall into a large-scale energy crisis. In order to avoid the collapse of the world, a girl went back to the past and asked the protagonist (player) for help. The girl took the player to the Heart of Kolo and found three gaps with faint flashes of light pointing to somewhere. As the girl answered, the player learned that these three places were the wind power, water power, and sun power.
First, they arrived at the "wind power" floating in the vast blue sky, but because of the abnormal device inside, the violent wind blew everywhere.

Then they arrived at the "Hydraulic Room" in the dam in the huge valley. The overgrown weeds made it seem that the turbine had been stopped for a long time.

After the player helps the girl collect the three mysterious runes, he comes to the Heart of Kolo and inserts the three runes into the core. The device restarts and reveals a truth: "Kolo has never operated on technology, but on people's understanding and respect for energy. When humans forget how they once turned the world, it loses its power."
The player's actions are not just to repair the system, but to "awaken the world's memory" and let humans re-understand electricity.
Problems, difficulties and trade-offs:
Due to the 100MB size limit for future listings on the Play Store, we had to make trade-offs while keeping the scene graph high-definition, so we used pixel style for some objects, turning the objects in the game into blocks or pixels. This not only eased the space limit, but also gave these objects the advantage of lossless scaling and extension, while maintaining a complete gaming experience. The difficult part was that the core of the game consisted of thousands of lines of code, so problems and bugs were often encountered during the production process, so more time had to be spent on modification, optimization and debugging, and more people had to help test in order to find out problems that were not seen during the test.

Since we used the Godot4.3 game engine, this engine is open source, convenient and completely free, and has a high degree of freedom, which is suitable for small and medium-sized creations. When making it, we can express our creativity without being limited by the software. This game can not only achieve educational purposes, but also provide entertainment through games, so that the subjects can be happily in an educational environment.
Advantages: This APP has a very complete operating experience, including exit, automatic save, story mode, challenge mode, volume adjustment, pause and other functions. It also pays special attention to the "operation feel" and strives to make the user experience smooth and not stuck. At the same time, interesting levels can make players want to continue playing the "challenge mode" after clearing the "story mode", and the reflected light game "Solar Between" can also create players' "diffuse thinking" and encourage players to find the most efficient way to pass the level. The meaningful plot, smooth rune animation and unique art also contribute to "coding specificity", so that when players see related things such as green energy, power generation equipment and other information or items in the future, they can recall the knowledge points learned in "Heart of Koro".
