Yewer Abeba (which means “monthly flower” in Amharic) is a free menstrual health education app designed by girls, for girls. Created in partnership with Studio Samuel Girls Academy in Ethiopia, it provides trusted, accessible information on menstruation, health, and wellbeing—helping adolescent girls break myths, build confidence, and take control of their futures.

For too many girls, periods mean missed school, shame, or even dropping out altogether. Yewer Abeba changes that reality by putting education and empowerment directly into their hands—no matter where they live or what resources they have.
