Anki Crossword is an app, that generates crosswords using publicly accessible Anki flashcards from ankiweb.

If you fill them more times, you will mark that, you will be faster in every round, and will use lesser the hints as before. For me usually the third fill round was the point, when I was able to fill all words without any hint.
