Makassar to realize the SMART Customs service (Seamless Trade, Travel and Transport), now it has successfully completed an Android / IOS based Application called Electronic Customs Declaration or abbreviated as E-CD. The application built by the Makassar Customs IT Team is a customs service system specifically for international passengers at Hasanuddin International Airport (SHIAM) Airport Makassar. The Electronic Customs Declaration was prepared to provide convenience to passengers of the Makassar SHIAM Airport in fulfilling their obligations to fill out and submit customs notifications to the Makassar Customs and Excise Office. This E-CD Application System is based on Android / IOS and is public in nature and very user friendly so that people can easily access wherever and whenever considering the more familiar and the many uses of mobile phones equipped with internet access. With the implementation of E-CD, passengers have an alternative (choice) in fulfilling their customs obligations (in addition to using the Form Customs Declaration) so that they are expected to be better served and the level of compliance with customs provisions is also higher.
