Description of the CASCO Application (COHECO Attendance Control)

CASCO is the official COHECO Attendance Control mobile application, designed to modernize and optimize work hour tracking, overtime management, leave management, and, crucially, ensure documentation of compliance with daily safety protocols.

The main objective is to provide a fast, accurate, and secure tool for staff in the office and in the field.

I. Main Modules and Functionalities

1. Attendance Module (The Digital "Check-In")

This module replaces the physical time clock, guaranteeing the accuracy and location of the record.

Check-In and Check-Out: Simple interface with a large button that switches between "Check In" and "Check Out."

Geolocation (Geofencing): The record is only valid if the employee is within the authorized GPS perimeter (office, workshop, or assigned client location), ensuring that the clock-in is accurate.

Quick Validation: Clocking in is instantaneous and generates a checkmark (✓) confirmation along with the exact time of the entry.

Work Schedule Display: Shows the employee in real time how many hours they have worked that day and their last clock-in.

2. Overtime Module

Allows for the transparent request and recording of hours worked outside of standard hours.

Pre-Request: The employee can submit an overtime request indicating the reason and estimated duration. This request requires supervisor/manager approval via notification.

Automatic Recording: Once approved, hours worked outside of standard hours are automatically recorded with the same geolocation validation as regular attendance records.

Detailed Report: Allows the employee to view the total number of approved and pending overtime hours.

3. Leave Management Module

Centralizes all leave requests to simplify the administrative process.

Leave Types: Includes predefined categories (e.g., Vacation, Medical Appointments, Personal Matters, Business Assignment).

Approval Workflow: The employee enters the leave type, dates, and attaches documents if necessary. The request is automatically sent to the corresponding supervisor for digital approval within the app.

Real-Time Status: The employee can track whether their leave request is "Pending," "Approved," or "Rejected."

4. Safety Module (10-Minute Read Log)

Given the technical and safety-related nature of COHECO (elevators, HVAC), this module is vital for compliance with risk prevention.

Talk/Read Log: Specifically designed to document attendance and comprehension of safety talks or 10-minute quick read logs prior to the start of the workday.

Attendance Verification: Upon completion of the safety briefing (whether in a group or individually), the employee must:

Scan QR Code: If it is a group briefing, scan a QR code projected by the facilitator.

Digital Confirmation: Click a "Completed" button after reviewing the safety materials available in the app.

Content Storage: Quick access to Safety Data Sheets, Rescue Procedures, and emergency protocols, ensuring that personnel always have the information readily available.
