Calculations consider stainless steel pipes of usual commercial diameters and schedules.

Friction factor is calculated using the Colebrook-White formulae:

1/√f=-2*log((ε/D)/3.72+2.51/(Re*√f))

For laminar flow (Re<2000):

f=64/Re

Distributed head losses:

hld=f*L/D*v^2/(2*g)
Where:
f – friction factor
ε – rugosity of the pipe wall
s – pipe internal diameter
Re – Reynolds number
L – length of straight piping
