The Apis Digital Import application is designed to display output graphs from Apis Digital hive scales, transferred to the ApisDigital/Import folder in the phone's internal storage.
Output graphs can be transferred via the Internet from the primary Apis Digital application by recording mirroring to cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive) and then by downloading mirroring from it to the Apis Digital Import application (in the ApisDigital/Import folder) using an external application (e.g. Autosync for Google Drive).
The hive scale is a device permanently inserted under the beehive, which measures the weight of the hive and the ambient temperature at regular intervals and transmits the measured values to the Apis Digital application. The Apis Digital application processes the received measurements and creates time graphs or tables of numerical values from them. In a common graph, multiple scales can be monitored at multiple stations at the same time, the maximum number of monitored scales is 29. The displayed graphs are ordinary files in jpg format, which are available for sharing via cloud storage.
In the graphs, the weight curves, their connection with the ambient temperature and their trends can be easily compared. In this way, the future development of individual bee colonies can be estimated or the correctness of beekeeping interventions already carried out can be assessed. The graphs thus provide a guide on the basis of which work with bee colonies can be optimized.
