ADELE is a digital health assistant that enables people in need of care to record and classify vital data in a structured and voice-based manner, document this data using a diary function and compare the data with self-imposed target corridors. Together with functions for setting reminders, for support with temporal and spatial orientation and for assistance by means of a digital emergency call assistant, ADELE makes it easier for the person in need of care to cope with and independently deal with therapy-related requirements, restrictions and stresses and overall aims to maintain or improve the user's quality of life, self-determination and independence.
The product is always a system consisting of hardware and software and is divided into the following modules, which can also be used individually:
- Mobile emergency call (MN): Emergency call from home or on the move to family members or 24/7 manned control center - incl. voice connection, fall detection, inquiry in case of inactivity, whether there is an emergency and geolocalization
- Geo-protection (GS): Alarm when leaving a defined geographical area, alarm when approaching no-go areas to family members or 24/7 manned control center
- Cognitive support (KU): Voice-based setting of reminders for appointments, storage locations, etc. as well as drinking diary, notebook, medication reminders, documentation of medication intake, everyday structuring, communication support with relatives and/or specialists
- Patient sovereignty (SP): Voice-based recording of vital data, support for the (nursing) interpretation of physical conditions, knowledge transfer for a healthier lifestyle and for dealing with (therapy-related) restrictions in everyday life
