The “Bildungsraum” wallet is your personal data storage that accompanies you throughout your entire educational journey. Receive, store and share educational credentials such as transcripts, certificates and other personal information with an app.

Only you decide what you share with others and you have the option to delete information at any time. The My Education Space filing allows learners and teachers to:
- to connect with educational providers and institutions that are part of the “My Education Space” network.
- create personal information (profile information, learning and competence levels, educational certificates) and share it as required.
- See at a glance what information and files were shared, when and with whom.

With the digital networking infrastructure, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) plans to create a digital educational space that promotes individual educational paths and enables a seamless digital learning journey from elementary school to old age. In order to achieve this, “My Education Space” links existing educational offerings with each other.

The networking infrastructure provides central functions:
- access various educational providers using single sign-on,
- create a basic identity if there is no identity of a network partner,
- find suitable educational offers,
- organize your own educational trip.
