FUNCTIONS
With the "KVB ServiceApp", as a member of the health care system of the Federal Railroad officials, you can transmit reimbursement applications and other documents to the health care and long-term care insurance. This makes the app a quick and easy alternative to sending in documents by post.
The use of the app itself is free of charge. Please note, however, that you need an internet connection to use it (e.g. W-LAN or mobile data connection). The costs for data transmission when sending documents are based on the tariffs of your network provider and are to be borne by you.

REQUIREMENTS
You can use the app on a smartphone or tablet with Android version 6 or higher. Unfortunately, it cannot be used with Android versions lower than 6. It is also necessary to have valid login data (membership number and password) for the KVB website, as these data are also used to log in to the app.

LOGIN AND SECURITY
If you have already registered on the KVB website, you can log into the app directly using your membership number and password. Otherwise you have to register to use the app with the registration code on the KVB website and assign your own password. You can then log into the app with your membership number and this password.
The "KVB ServiceApp" can be used by several members on one device. However, they must register with their own membership number and personal password so that the app can assign the transmitted documents to the correct member.
