The waste app expands the range of services offered by waste management and supplements the conventional website. Using the waste app, users can display the regular collection dates for residual waste bins, recycling bins for packaging and recycling bins for paper, etc. on their smartphones. Shifts in collection dates on public holidays are automatically taken into account.

Waste management is hoping for the citizens’ help with the “Container Reporter” and “Waste Reporter” modules: full glass containers, dirty container locations or “wild waste” deposits can be reported directly via app, location notification and photo.
