The AmRe-LoCO app is part of the healthcare research project of the same name AmRe-LoCO (digitally supported outpatient medical rehabilitation for long COVID syndrome) and is used, among other things, to plan, provide and control therapy content as well as to communicate and network with health guides (case managers), medical staff, therapists and other affected people.
The aim of the AmRe-LoCO project is to establish an outpatient, digitally supported, rehabilitative care concept for Long COVID patients.
This is intended to close the existing gap in care caused by the newly emerged clinical picture and to relieve the burden on service providers. The focus of the AmRe-LoCO project is on ensuring the care needs of Long COVID patients in order to increase their quality of life, prevent chronic disease, reduce existing cognitive and motor deficits and restore their performance.
The AmRe-LoCO care concept and the associated app are based on current scientific findings and guidelines for telemedical patient care. We pay attention to the highest possible usability. We regularly test the technical components and continuously optimize our systems and the operating concept.
The prerequisites for using the app are a) that you are a selected project participant and have signed the declaration of consent to participate in the AmRe-LoCO project and b) you use the app exclusively with the access data provided to you as part of the health services research project AmRe-LoCO use.

The telemedicine platform Curafida, on which AmRe-LoCO is based, is certified as a CE-certified Class I medical device according to the Medical Device Directive (MDD).

Important note: As part of the AmRe-LoCO healthcare research project, this app supports participating patients in transferring their recorded telemedical data to the eHealth platform. We expressly point out that the use of the app in no way replaces regular consultation and treatment with a doctor or therapist. Before patients make medical decisions, they should consult with the treating doctor. We recommend that you see your treating doctor or therapist as quickly as possible, especially if you have new complaints or complications.
