In 2026, the grounds of the State Garden Show will be added. Explore sights, historical sites, and cultural highlights on the interactive map. Many tours include engaging audio and video content that brings history and stories to life. Discover the city in a fun and interactive way with short quizzes.

The Ellwangen app brings together information about city life, culture, gastronomy, and retail in a user-friendly application, clearly showcasing everything the charming small town of Ellwangen has to offer.

A special bonus is coming soon: Digital vouchers can be collected in the app and redeemed at participating businesses in the city center, such as shops and restaurants – simple, convenient, and local.

The app is designed to be fun, informative, and offer real added value. It aims to make Ellwangen's city center digitally accessible and encourage users to experience it firsthand. The Ellwangen app was developed as part of the "City.Re.Experience." city center project. This project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Construction as part of the federal program "Sustainable City Centers and Town Centers" and based on a resolution of the German Bundestag.

Therefore, the features in this app focus on the city center as a vibrant hub – with its diverse opportunities for a great time. Nevertheless, the Schönenberg pilgrimage church and Ellwangen Castle, as important city landmarks, are also included in this app.
