Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania offers the LaFIS®-GEOFOTO M-V photo app to support agricultural businesses that apply for area- or animal-related agricultural support. The app allows geo-referenced photos of agricultural plots, the crops grown and the agricultural activities to be created and submitted directly to the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania agricultural administration. The photos serve to provide evidence of fulfilled conditions, obligations and other requirements. The obligation to cooperate (according to Section 41 of the GAPInVeKoS Ordinance) for the applicant to provide evidence via a photo app is always necessary if the agricultural administration's satellite area monitoring does not provide a clear result (finding) on ​​a test criterion for a plot.

In this case, the person making the application (or the actual user) receives a photo assignment on their smartphone via the app. This photo assignment initially refers to proof of a cultivated crop or to proof of agricultural activity or minimum activity on grassland or fallow land. With the help of the LaFIS®-GEOFOTO M-V app, the applicant/user takes photos of the affected plot for a specific photo assignment and submits them via upload. The geographical coordinates of the photo taken are saved and the photos are therefore clearly assigned to the company plots. The app's functions support recordings and navigate to the affected plots if necessary. Previous photos taken with the app can also be assigned to a photo order and then submitted.

If photo orders are processed by the applicant and corresponding photos are submitted via LaFIS®-GEOFOTO M-V, these will be processed by the agricultural administration in MV. If the photos submitted are informative and the application requirements are proven, an on-site inspection by the StÄLU is no longer necessary. This saves both farms and administration a lot of time!

Authentication in the app takes place analogously to the profil inet web client application program using the company number (BNRZD) and the PIN for the HIT/ZID database.
