In the four sections – Prepare, Arrive, Start and Contact – you will find lots of information, tips and functions that will prepare you for your studies at our university and support you in the first weeks and months.

1. Prepare
Find all the important information on how to fund your studies and find accommodation, about local mobility, as well as other organisational tips while you are preparing to start your studies.
2. Arrive
This section will help you find your way around in Jena: Here you will find information on the orientation events and activities to get to know each other, on how to register your residence and pay the television and radio licence fee, and on part-time jobs, sports and leisure activities.
3. Start
This section is about your everyday life as a student after the Orientation Days: Find out about upcoming courses, familiarise yourself with our online portals and services, create your study plan and discover learning spaces.
