Kidgonet is a child and youth protection app that supports parents and guardians in enabling their children to use the Internet in an age-appropriate and protected manner.
All Internet-enabled end devices on which the Kidgonet app is installed can be easily controlled centrally in the parent portal, via PC or mobile using the Kidgonet portal app. In this way, time and content-related usage restrictions can be assigned easily and comprehensively for all devices.

The content filter ensures that children only see websites that are appropriate for their age. In this way, our Kidgonet app protects against unwanted contact with sites that deal with, for example, pornography, violence, gambling, drugs, sects, etc.
The usage times, when the smartphone/tablet can be used and when not, can be easily determined via the parent portal. This ensures that the total usage time per day is not exceeded, and fixed breaks such as e.g. B. to do schoolwork, are complied with. The child is then not online, but can still be reached by telephone.

You can select all settings for the Kidgonet Go Online child and youth protection app in the parent portal at portal.kidgonet.de. The parent portal is optimized for all mobile devices and easy to use.
What our app cannot do:
spy on your children.
It is not a substitute for media education, talk to your children and counsel your children.

- Track settings if necessary.

To inform the user about using the Accessibility API, several texts are displayed in the app when the user has to allow this permission.

VPN service

The app uses the VPN service because it is a child and youth protection app.
The app is installed by the parents.

To protect children, the content of the website is checked and if the content is not age-appropriate, the site is blocked and the Kidgonet warning page is displayed.
Internet traffic is also blocked if the online time allowed by the parents is exceeded. No personally identifiable information is collected through the service.
