Why does the world need another ringtone picker?

You certainly don't need one, but this does some things differently:
it provides all built-in and custom ringtones and other notifications grouped by type for selection. This allows you to select tones that are not of the same type and not just ringtones if there is a requirement for them.
In addition, only the standard directories alarms, notifications and ringtones are taken into account, but not the other music files that are still somewhere on the device.
During the selection, the playing of the selected tones can be switched on and off very easily.

Since this app only provides an implementation for the standard action android.intent.action.RINGTONE_PICKER , it does not appear in the list of executable apps. However, it is offered if this action is triggered by another app or the system.
