About the exhibition
Carl Schuch is considered one of the best-known “unknowns” of late 19th-century painting. In Paris, he engaged in intense explorations of his contemporaries`colour worlds. The Sädel Museum is presenting Schuch`s fascinationg still lifes and landscapes with important works by Cézanne, Courbet, Manet, and Monet.
