The animal Anatomical Theatre is the oldest surviving Academic buildings of Berlin. Carl Gotthard Langhans, architect of the Brandenburg Gate, designed the early classical building 1789/1790 as the main building of the newly established veterinary school. For over 200 years the house was used by the veterinary medicine. Since October 2012, after its extensive renovation serves as an exhibition and events.
