The “Uelzen District” app is a free smartphone app to inform and warn the population of the Uelzen district.

You will receive current information and warnings that affect the district directly on your smartphone - with additional push notifications if desired.

You can individually determine which topics you would like to be actively informed about (e.g. school cancellations or job offers from the district as well as warnings, e.g. in the event of storms, bomb defusal operations, etc.)

The reports are sent by the responsible areas of the Uelzen district. The “Uelzen District” app does not replace the instructions of authorities, police or other emergency services on site in the event of warnings.

A data connection (WLAN or mobile) is required to use the app and receive the information. This may result in costs for your respective service provider.

To use the location function, location services must be activated on your smartphone.
