The need for reference image databases in the field of handhelds is increasing for reasons of practicability and increasing diagnostics at digital workstations. A reference database of traumatological skeletal radiography was to be established with the OrthoRad program. Material and methods: Over the course of a year, the most important standard settings and special images of skeletal radiography of young, healthy adults were collected and released for the OrthoRad database after expert assessment. Oriented to the workflow of MTRs and doctors, the collected image material was organized according to body regions under OrthoRad.
