With the MonaNRW app, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia actively involves applicants in the application review process as part of EU agricultural funding from 2023. In particular, in the context of area monitoring, this can contribute to the clarification of unclear control results. In 2022, the app will only be available to the technical verification service of the EU paying agency.

With the help of the app, localized photos can be submitted to the EU paying agency as proof of the condition, use or activity on one’s own land. This includes, for example, proof of the crop cultivated or proof of minimum activity being carried out on fallow land and strips.

The photos submitted via the app can be used by the applicants themselves to demonstrate compliance with funding requirements, obligations and other requirements in the event of questionable circumstances, without the need for an on-site field check.

The North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture is responsible for the content and technical support of the app.
