MyLoginBox manages access data and saves it securely and encrypted directly on the device without being transferred to the Internet.

All passwords recorded in MyLoginBox are encrypted with a single master password and can only be decrypted with this. If the device supports biometric authentication using a fingerprint sensor, this is also used to identify the user when logging in. The data are users are protected by two-factor authentication.

The data is only saved locally on the device. No data is transferred to the Internet. If the device is lost, the data is still safe from unauthorized access, since the database cannot be read out without the master password.

MyLoginBox intentionally does not offer an autofill function for forms. It does not register as a keyboard service. Rather, the app is to be understood as an encrypted notebook. Passwords can be copied to the clipboard without revealing them.

The strong symmetrical AES 256 bit method (Advanced Encryption Standard) with SHA-256 key transformation is used as the encryption standard. Without knowing the master password, there is no way to gain access to the user's secret data.

An export function is provided for the migration to another device, which saves the encrypted data as a file. The data can only be imported on the new device if the master password is known.

The app supports devices from Android 6.0. It is recommended to use a device with biometric authentication to ensure the best possible security of the data.
