Reasons why an app might be missing from the store:
1. The developer has stopped working on the app and removed it from the store.
2. The app has been banned from the store due to policy violations.

In both cases it's possible that the app returns to the store, for example if the developer publishes a policy-compliant update.

There's nothing wrong in using an "outdated" app if it's working well and suits its purpose. But when an app was identified as malware (e.g. spying on your data, exploiting security flaws of the operation system, abusing the device for crypto mining or DDoS attacks), you will neither get notified nor will the app automatically be uninstalled from your device.

This app may help you finding potentially harmful or simply outdated apps on your device, but whether you uninstall those apps or continue to use them is entirely up to you.

Note: This app only checks apps installed or updated through the official store. The result list will not contain any apps installed through third-party stores or via sideloading, nor any system apps that cannot be updated through the store.
