Who is fiveways for?
fiveways is designed for students and trainees who want to strengthen their mental resilience, improve their well-being, and build skills for personal development.
fiveways is developed at SRH Berufsbildungswerk Neckargemünd (SRH BBWN) by an interdisciplinary team with expertise in psychology, coaching, education, and digital health management.
The app is based on scientifically grounded skill areas and integrates current insights from research and practice – presented in everyday, accessible language. Content is carefully designed from a didactic perspective and reviewed both professionally and legally.
Health-related classification
The fiveways app is neither a Digital Health Application (DiGA) as defined in § 33a SGB V, nor a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (MDR).
The app does not pursue any medical purpose. It is explicitly not intended for the detection, monitoring, prevention, treatment, or alleviation of diseases or mental disorders. Likewise, it does not provide medical diagnoses, individualized therapy suggestions, or medical advice.
Instead, the app offers everyday, preventive content to strengthen psychosocial skills. Its goal is to support young people in challenging life phases by promoting self-efficacy and resilience through interactive impulses, reflection exercises, and digital coaching.
The use of the app does not replace medical, psychotherapeutic, or any other professional treatment. Users who show signs of a mental health condition requiring treatment are explicitly and easily directed within the app to suitable professional support services.
