The AM.mio app was developed specifically for patients of the Amberg Model of Integrative Oncology (AM.mio for short) at the St. Marien Amberg Clinic and funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care.
How does it work?
You can download the AM.mio app for free here.
If you are registered as a patient of integrative oncology at the St. Marien Amberg Clinic, you will receive a password from the clinic with which you can unlock the app and use it to its full extent. Please feel free to contact the integrative oncology coordinator!

What does the app offer?
The aim of the AM.mio app is to support and accompany you digitally during your participation in the integrative oncology program. You have the opportunity to manage your participation more quickly and, by using the patient diary, you get a better overview of your illness and recovery.
The highlights at a glance:
Individual patient diary, e.g. to record side effects
Booking and management of integrative oncology courses
Reminder function, e.g. for your personal appointments
Your bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) measurement data directly in the app
Digitally completing the quality of life questionnaires
Useful information about self-help groups, cooperation partners, etc.
What is AM.mio?
With the Amberg Model of Integrative Oncology, we combine conventional cancer therapies with integrative treatment options in the areas of exercise, nutrition, relaxation, psycho-oncology and art therapy.
Under the umbrella of the certified oncology center (certified by the German Cancer Society since 2011), we pursue a holistic treatment approach. Since 2016, the St. Marien Clinic has also been a member of the CCC Erlangen-EMN network.
Our concept is primarily based on the active involvement of patients in the fight against cancer. This gives you the opportunity to take action for your own health, to do something lasting for your well-being and to noticeably improve your quality of life.
