The Bangladesh Rheumatology Society was established in 28th April 1997. The Physician and Surgeons of Bangladesh who are engaged in treating different Rheumatic conditions were the founder of this society. This society arrange biannually National conference on Rheumatology with the participation of National and International speakers, observes different International Rheumatic days, arrange seminar and symposium to ensure evidence based practice. The first international conference was held in 1998. The renowned Rheumatologist of home and abroad participate in the international conferences. BRS is one of the membar of APLAR and maintain a close relationship with other international rheumatic societies
