What is burn-in?
Screens may suffer from burn-in after long periods of use if there is something static on the screen. You may have seen this on your TV after watching a specific channel for an extended period of time, the channel logo may still show on your screen, that's burn-in!
OLED displays are usually more prone to burn-in than an LCD screen but burn-in on an LCD screen tends to be a different problem.

How can it be fixed?
By using this app!
The app will show many different colors on-screen in an attempt to revive the pixels.

If you catch it soon enough, it could be fixed by changing the color of the pixel for an extended period of time. However, this doesn't always work if the burn-in has been there for too long.
