• The PLENVU® Patient App offers people who are about to undergo a colonoscopy assistance in preparing for the procedure.
• PLENVU® is a type of medicine called a bowel preparation that will empty and clean your bowels so that they are ready for examination or surgery.
• The App splits into two sections:
Personal Area (pink) and Information Overview (green).
• In the ‘Personal Area’ (pink), you will be able to select the time for your colonoscopy in order to then be guided step by step through your bowel preparation.
• In the ‘Information Overview’ (green), you will be able to explore important information about taking PLENVU®, diet and behaviour and your procedure timeline.
• The ‘Navigation Bar’ is always visible throughout the App and you can get back to the Home Screen or manage the Settings menu at any time.
• Once you have selected the date and time for your colonoscopy, in the 4 days leading up to your colonoscopy, you can choose to receive important step-by-step information daily concerning your diet and how and when to prepare and to take PLENVU®.
• Key features:
* The App is suited for all patients and it is easy to use.
* It contains simple, intuitive graphics and symbols that make it easy to navigate.
* The font size can be easily changed for better readability.
* You can choose to activate a reminder service that notifies you about nutrition and when your doses are due.
* The App does not collect any personal data.
* You won’t receive any advertising notifications whilst using this App.
* The App doesn’t take much storage nor much battery power of your mobile phone.
