"Co-financed by the “multi-risk science for resilient communities under a changing climate (RETURN) - Spoke Unifi”* call, Virivì and the shadow of the rain is an adventure for children and teenagers that talks about safety culture and climate change.
In the role of Donatella, a curious and determined girl on the trail of a mysterious elf who is said to bring bad luck, you will find yourself exploring an imaginary Lucanian village and delving into the topic of mitigating risks related to floods.
With the help of Virivì, an elf from southern folklore who is a metaphor for environmental awareness, Donatella and her friend Antonio will reveal various risk situations and will contribute with their research to making the country safer.
From the first investigations, to the mysterious "alternative photos", up to the moment of the weather alert when the knowledge acquired becomes crucial, Virivì and the shadow of the rain accompanies the children in a process of empowerment, encouraging them not to be paralyzed by eco-anxiety, but to actively contribute to the resilience of their community.
