The Keirsey questionnaire is a temperament assessment technique based on the works of K.G. Jung and I. Myers-Briggs. The questionnaire was developed in 1956 by University of California professor David Keirsey. Translation and adaptation of the methodology were carried out by B.V. Ovchinnikov, K.V. Pavlov, I.M. Vladimirova, Ilyin E.P.
The questionnaire contains four bipolar scales reflecting the content of eight psychological factors of temperament (within the framework of the theoretical concepts of C.G. Jung and his followers). These factors (scales) include:
- extraversion-introversion (E-I, from the English Extravertion-Intravertion);
- sensorics-intuition (S-N, from English Sensation-Intuition);
- consistency-feeling (T-F, from the English. Thinking-Feeling);
- decision-perception (J-P, from the English. Judging-Perceiving) (planning-imrulation).
