This mobile App is a medical calculator indicating the likelihood that a patient diagnosed with differentiated thyroid cancer will relapse from the cancer in five and ten years.

To calculate this likelihood we need to know the following patient parameters at the time of diagnosis: main diagnosis (papillary or follicular), multifocality and TNM stage.

To give this likelihood the App will calculate a total score based on the risk of the above parameters. A patient will have a greater risk of recurrence if that patient has higher TNM stage, and there is follicular carcinoma or multicentricity. According to the score obtained the patient will have a probability associated with recurrence.

If a patient has high probability of recurrence, special emphasis should be placed on the follow-up.
