This mobile App is a medical calculator indicating the likelihood that a patient diagnosed with glottic cancer will die in five years

To calculate this likelihood we need to know the following patient parameters at the time of diagnosis: age, TNM, stage, smoking and alcohol.

To give this likelihood the App will calculate a total score based on the risk of the above parameters. A patient will have a greater risk of death if that patient is older, has a higher stage, and a personal history of smoking and alcohol. According to the score the patient will have an associated probability of death.

If a patient has a high probability of death, special emphasis should be placed on follow-up.
