To calculate probability esta we need to know the patient following parameters: HbA1c (%), foveal thickness (microns) and visual acuity (units).

The mobile app will calculate a score based on the risk parameters ACCORDING TO the above. Patients will Have a greater risk for These disorders if They Have a high HbA1c concentration, a greater foveal thickness and a lower visual acuity. From the points will be Given the patient classified in a special risk group, Which will Have an Associated likelihood of Having at Least One of These disorders.

If a patient is found to be in the high or very high risk group refer That We Should the patient to specialist services. On the other hand, if the risk is found to be medium or low, the patient can be followed by the primary care physician.
