Byens Luft has been developed for citizens who are particularly vulnerable to air pollution – e.g. children with certain chronic diseases, pregnant women, people with asthma, COPD and heart disease and their relatives.
Byens Luft shows forecasts for air quality at 103 locations in Copenhagen four days ahead. You can sign up for alerts so that you will be notified when the level of air pollution is expected to be very high in different places in the city. The forecasts are based on an air quality index that DCE – National Center for Energy and Environment at Aarhus University has developed.
On Byens Luft you can also see the expected level for fine particles (PM2.5), coarse particles (PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone (O3). And you can see measurement data a day back from the six measurement stations in Copenhagen.
