The nature database's app allows the authorities to enter nature data directly into the field. Access to reporting and editing of data in the Nature Database is through Danmarks Miljøportal's user management, where rights management is based on roles.
It is possible to create activities directly in the app, either by reusing a previous activity geometry or by using a geometry that the user has created himself.
The main functionalities include:
Map search: There are four layers integrated into the app: Natura 2000 Bird Protection, Natura 2000 Habitat Areas, Protected Nature Types and the Nature Database layer. From the map search, it is possible to reuse the geometries of these layers for new activities.
My activities: Here the user gets an overview of the activities created on the mobile. The user can create new activities, edit existing activities and delete or remove activities.
My geometries: The user can find the geometries that have been created at naturdatabasen.miljoeportal.dk and use these for new activities. In addition, it is possible to share geometries in the app with colleagues, which makes it possible to use the app as a progress tool for larger nature monitoring projects.
