The Walking New York App will show you original photographs of NYC depending on your current location. It locates the block you are on and shows you the nearby historical pictures. Created by the La Guardia and Wagner Archives, La Guardia Community College, CUNY, the app features selections from the New York City Housing Authority Photograph Collection (housed at the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives), Queens Public Library, and Brooklyn Historical Societys Photograph Collection. People can browse the map to find all of our provided locations, and stay connected by sharing photos with family and friends on Facebook, Twitter, or Email.
