The Aggie-COVID-19 app provides a collection of features that are part of the New Mexico State University (NMSU) response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an opt-in app and all information generated by the app is stored and processed on NMSU's server that meets all the standard requirements in accordance to Federal and State laws. The app is developed and supported by the New Mexico State University. It received the endorsement of New Mexico Department of Heath.

The Aggie-COVID-19 app supports self-checking and contact tracing for audiences associated to NMSU. It is developed with privacy concern in mind and can easily be adapted and deployed for other organizations.

The app is designed to support the return to campus activities of NMSU. It allows students and staffs to participate in the following activities:
1. Contact tracing, through optional collection of location information on the NMSU campus (collection of locations is done only once individuals are on NMSU's premise).
2. Self-checking, through a simple questionnaire which facilitates connection with the Aggie Health and Wellness Center. This self-checker implements the CDC self-checker.
3. Self-reporting for voluntary reporting of COVID-19 testing and positive cases to the Aggie Health and Wellness Center. This information will be processed only by the Aggie Health and Wellness Center, which is responsible for contract tracing at NMSU.

Self-registration for students, staffs, and faculty when they check in or check out NMSU building. This feature allows NMSU's students, staffs, and faculty to participate in contract tracing without allowing GPS/Wifi information.
