Currently, people are able to find out the chemical makeup and possible side effects of any given drug by using trusted websites that are dedicated to providing the public with that information (e.g, WebMD). These platforms can provide them with information about how doctors and medical professionals predict the drug will behave when taken but they cannot provide them with first hand accounts from people who have taken the drug in question. Dose is an android app that gives users the ability to share their experience with select over-the-counter medicines that are available in drug stores in the United States. Once downloaded the user will be able to create their own account with Dose and use the app to see other users reviews of medicines and to post new ones themselves. This application is to make it easier for everyday people to get first hand accounts of how good or bad a medicine is from people who actually used it so they can make more informed decisions for themselves.
