This is an android application for aiding electrical engineers to quickly perform calculations on surge protection requirements within the UK and earth rod resistance without the need of gaining any internet connection. A simplified UK flash density map is also included in the app.

Three functions are offered in this tool:

1. Evaluation of calculated risk level (CRL) of the building in both rural or urban locations in one simple step.

2. Calculation of a single earth rod resistance using metric units.

3. Calculation of of a single earth rod resistance using imperial units.

This App is mainly for electrical skilled persons who will need to assess the requirements of providing surge protection or earth rods for their projects.
