Identification of Dynamic Process Model, is an application created as a study and work tool for personnel working in the process control area.
This application is based on carrying out a step test (or pulse type), depending on the process, to find a model, which helps to study the dynamics of the system and perform later tuning.
The identified models are those considered Time Invariant Dynamic Models, which are well adjusted for the operating point where the test was performed. This model can be used in another operating range depending on the linearity of the process.
The models considered are:
Proportional
Integrative
Self-regulated
Higher.
The latter as an approximation of a first order model with dead time.
In each model option, it is possible to select, if a delay in the change of the process was visualized, known as Dead Time.
The application has an option to graph the identified model, according to the supplied data.
